Well the coppers finally started to get a bit fair dinkum.
About 40 came up from Perth to get the protesters to "move on". Tracey and the kids were once again out there doing their bit. There were 25 arrests but the best Tracey could do was a warning. Anna was pretty impressed. Told me she heard plenty of "s words" and even a couple of "f words".
Sadly Woodside had their way and have began clearing the site. Very few people in Broome want the gas hub at James Price point and are hopeful that it can still be stopped. Alot of people remain camped at the Minardie Road turnoff in an attempt to slow the progress of the works.
Keep up the good work guys! give 'em hell Trace! Hasn't been much about it on the news here, sometimes we seem to get more international news than from all the way over there in WA! We had a great time in Daylesford with Sue & Jeff and the boys, and Janine and the kids. The Dooleys came over for the day on Sunday (freezing and drizzle all day) and we drove to Castlemaine, caught the (somewhat leaky and a bit slow, in the "I think I can, I think I can" when faced with a hill) steam train to Maldon for the food and wine festival, then a diesel train (faster but a bit smelly) back to Castlemaine. Had a great day, the kids all hung out the windows of the train trying to catch leaves as we went past, and the grown ups actually got to have a bit more grown up chat time than we usually get!
