This little campsite was a favourite for all of us. The kids loved the peppermint trees and seemed to spend more time up in the branches than on the ground! The Vallee family stayed there as well as Swiss Irish and German contingents. Tracey organised our first Saturday night party which was well attended by the overseas travellers. We probably stayed up a bit later than we should have, but these things happen sometimes. I also managed to get my much needed haircut before starting work in Northam in a couple of weeks. Anja assured me that she was a qualified hairdresser back home in Germany, but she didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I said I wanted a mullet. (Darcys mulled is almost to a South Australian standard).
We also took a trip to the Cape Howe winery in "Matilda" (the Vallee's campervan) too see a band - they were from Northcote of all places!
